Camping at Flathead Lake
My husband and I have a really fun summer activity; camping at Flathead Lake with friends. This past summer we were setting up camp and I cut my finger. It was bleeding and won’t stop with just a paper towel squeezed over the cut.
“Jim, my finger is bleeding and we don’t have a first aid kit, in fact, we don’t even have a band aid! What kind of physicians are we.” He replied, ” Well, I think we have some duct tape.”
On of our friends who had not yet arrived at the campground is a surgical nurse. I bet she would have had sutures, stitching, beta-dine, or at least anti-biotic cream and a band aid. The Chiropractor just licked it and wrapped it in duct tape. It healed all the same, thank goodness.
NOTE: Pack a first aid kit and extra duct tape when going camping.. ENJOY
