“7 days without sunshine makes one weak”!

Yes, I’m beginning to feel “weak” as the days become shorter and the clouds hang low.  It must be time for me to start with my Vitamin D supplementation again.  In the summer months I spend a large amount of time outdoors without long sleeves (but with a big hat to prevent further wrinkles) so I don’t take Vitamin D.  But after a week without sunshine I’m feeling the effects.

I really don’t want to take more “pill” supplements.  Luckily, I can take just a few drops of liquid Vitamin D most days.  I leave it in the bathroom by my morning ritual products so I won’t forget.

Personally I take about 5,000IU/day, though I’ve known people to take as little as 500IU and as much as 50,000IU.  For more information here’s a rather informative link  VITAMIN D THE SUNSHINE VITAMIN
